A good book club isn’t about “liking” the book. It’s about noticing what moved you, what annoyed you, and what you’d argue about for five minutes without getting mad.

The prompts

  1. What moment felt most “true”? Why did it land for you?
  2. What did the author leave unsaid? What do you think that silence means?
  3. Who changed the most? Was it earned?
  4. What would you cut? And what would you expand?
  5. What did you disagree with? (A character, decision, or worldview.)
  6. What theme kept repeating? Where did you see it?
  7. What would a sequel explore?
  8. Which character would you be friends with? Who would you avoid?
  9. What quote stuck with you? Read it out loud.
  10. If you had to recommend this to one person… who and why?
